Lotus Vaping Technologies approached Rock Your Show with some trade show experience. Up to that point their space was filled with skirted tables and banner stands. They were stepping up their configuration for the next trade show season from in-line configurations to island trade show spaces. Island configuration are unique from in-line in that every side of your space is accessible by the attendees. This poses unique design challenges and opportunities. Lotus wanted to create a unique lounge / smoking bar environment. There also needed a way to display their limitless products along with the supporting graphics and brands identifying the products.
We started our design of Lotus’s Exhibiting environment with the design of their long bar. We felt by building it out to a 15’ width, we would be able to maximize the width of their space and still allow for room to walk around. We wanted an open feel to the space, but needed organization to the large crowds of attendees typical at the vaping shows. Instead of something bland, we decided a large 14’w x 12’h light box wall with backlit graphics would be would both functional and jaw dropping.
To pull the space together and to attract attention we incorporated a tall circular hanging sign and repeated the circle pattern in the carpet. This connected the space and encouraged the audience to engage Lotus. We flanked the corners with custom vertical display cases. By incorporating lighting into the bases, we were able to up-light the product bottles increasing visibility, intrigue, and drama. Overall the design and implementation of the display was an overwhelming success. Lotus has won several best-in-show’s with this custom trade show exhibit.
